Control Panel Failure

Hi, has anyone experienced the control knob not working in high temperatures? I'm hoping that as the sun sets the knob will start working again. Either that or it's going to be a panic trying to get it fixed before the weekend and a trip to Holland...!

I think it is not unheard of the knob failing, but I believe its a replaceable part from the club shop?
