Corrosion on stainless steel pull out kitchen

Curious to know if anyone else has had my experience. On the third trip out in our California beach we noticed corrosion/rust spots appearing in various areas of the pull out kitchen when we went to use it last weekend. The vehicle has manufacturers warranty and I have it booked in with the dealer to assess but wanted to know if i'm alone with this issue and unlucky? For the cost of these vehicles it concerns me that they are using poor quality materials like this.
