Defender Steel Wheels

I’m looking at some black steel wheels.

I realise a fitting kit will be needed , but anyone have any experience using wheels of this size?

Width: 8.5J
Offset: 53 mm
TYRES 255/70 R18

255/70/18 tyres are too high a profile.
255/45/18 are normal profile fitted,
8.5" is 0.5" wider than normal VW 18" fit. Wheel centre bore probably needs spigot rings plus different bolts.

Your best bet is to just get the bare rims and fit your own tyres if you want those rims.

Personally I'd stick to VW specific fit not ones made for JLR.

There are 18" steel rims available in either smooth or holed design.
