Detachable tow bar

We have the detachable tow bar fitted
Looks like a proper wiring loom
Would it be safe to assume it’s all set up and programmed for towing ?
Is this something I will have to pay be to check ?
Or if I hook up and parking sensors are fine can I assume it’s all set up ?
Wife wants a caravan for longer breaks with the kids
As the weather is so hit and miss
And more space is peaceful space where kids are concerned lol

I think the detachable one is the Westfalia model and a good piece of kit. Easiest way to check is plug something in, I believe the parking sensors should disengage.

Also if you have the RNS510 you should get confirmation on screen.

Even with the basic radio & rear parking sensors it shows a Graffic of a trailer attached when reverse is selected.

Should work: the only thing that won’t is the live and ignition live terminals for a trailer fridge. You may need one of these:
