Diesel heater servicing

Hi. Our van (5.1 T5) is 5 years old. Can anyone advise re: servicing? Does the heater need servicing and how often?

Basically No, unless it goes wrong. The manufacturer suggests running it once a month if not used. The glow plug can fail or the fan both replaceable. If you want it serviced then you'll have to find an Eberspacher Dealer. These heaters commonly found on HGVs or Boats.
