Draining windshield washer fluid

Is there an easy way to drain the windshield washer fluid reservoir? I made the mistake of filling up with summer (non antifreeze) fluid in August and have used less that I thought, and now want to drain it out so it won't freeze. All comments re:summer/winter air welcome if you must...for those who don't know what that means, pour yourself a drink and use the search function, you won't regret it.

That's the obvious solution (!), but I'm not sure I have your confidence in the durability of the washer motor.

Pull the washer pipe off the jets to relieve motor pressure then as I previously stated

Legionnaires' risk from wiper water

“Windscreen wiper water may be the cause of 20% of cases of Legionnaires' disease in England and Wales,” the BBC warned. It reported that the Health Protection Agency (HPA) has said that simply adding screenwash to wiper fluid kills the bacteria and could save lives.

Put some IPA in the existing fluid, that’s all the anti freeze product added to screen wash is (isopropanol alcohol)
