Need some help and advise please. My wife and I have being following the topic threads on drive away awnings and have done some research of our own. Out of personal choice we have narrowed our selection down to the Outwell California (how apt!) Highway and the DWT-ZVELTE Pegasus II. Unfortunately, finding a stockist who actually stocks the tent is proving a challenge.

We would appreciate any observations/experiences you have with either of the two and whether you know of a dealer who might actually have them in stock and to view please?

:thanks

Hi

Have you tried Just Kampers in Odiham? They stock Outwell awnings. They might have one on display at Volksworld Show at the end of this month...?

No problem! Outwell also have a list of dealers on their website that you can search by location, so there might be somewhere with a showroom near you.

Sorry, I've never heard of the other make you mention...

Yes, we have tried that and there in lies the problem? The contact we have had with the listed dealers have all proved negative,i.e., Go Outdoors etc. It seems it is such a specialist tent that it is not viable to stock. Sorry, I forgot to say that we live just south of Bristol. Thanks again, it is appreciated.

I have just bought another Outwell awning as they are excellent quality etc and i would recommend them. Last month i got a really good deal on an outwell awning and extras from - http://www.thefamilytentshop.co.uk

Good work. might as well get a discount :thumb :thumb

Thank you peregrinus, we have the khyam motordome as a back stop but are going to explore the Outwell california for now. The tip and link for the bowenawnings is appreciated.

I've got a khyam motorhome classic and you just wouldn't believe how easy and quick it is for 1 person to put up/ take down/ pack up.

It's pretty sturdy too having stayed upand intact in some pretty miserable weather last "summer" both here and in france.
