With all the electric car charging points springing up around the country I find myself wondering if any of them can be used to charge the batteries on a Cali. I strongly suspect the answer is "No" but wouldn't it be great if we could? Some houses now have them installed on their driveways too e.g. https://pod-point.com
Has anyone done any research on this?

Some could with an appropriate cable, but you are likely to be “Hated” for doing so.
There is a growing trend of charging spaces being “ice’d” (internal combustion engine) and this upsets the ev users.

Please don't do that - it's like parking at a petrol station!
Most chargers support "Type 2" at 7Kw (32 Amp x 240 Volts) as the slower option which is far more than we need to charge our leisure batteries (think electric cooker socket) which are better suited to 24hrs on trickle.

Springing up all round the country.? Which country are you in? I'm in england

Sorry, but why would as you said 'would be great if we could use them' ?
My Cali is approx. 1 year older than yours and find that during the winter months the leisure batteries run down a bit if not using van for a wk or so(has been down to 50 %). I have used the EHU to the garage and found the batteries charge back up very quick.
If you can't do this, i.e. your parked on a road, a quick run of the engine will do the same job!
When the electric Cali arrives, it might be in the next couple of years as BUZZ is out, I still don't think there is a need for worrying about charging points, just go to the campsites as we already do!
