Electric heating problem

I am plugged into power at a site but the electric only option won’t power the heating or hot water, it does power the sockets. If I turn on the gas heating and hot water works. When I select the 6 or 10 amp option, without gas it doesn’t work, with gas it does. Am I…… Being very dim? Have I a fault? - if so is there a quick fix. All suggestions gratefully received. @NorfolkJohn01 There is a delay from switching on heating/hot water on gas before you can select electric. Go out of the selection screen and wait 30sec then go back in and the 6a/10a options should be available.
It’s a quirk if the control panel.
