Fiamma Carry Bike VW T6 Pro

Does anybody use a Fiamma Carry-bike T6 pro. I just bought a second hand one. The upper brackets have a rubber liner on them, but not the lower ones.

Should the lower ones have rubber also or is it just helicopter tape on the rear door.
