Hi .... Wondered if anyone could help !! Just signed up to VIP membership for the benefits it offers and to get a copy of the Buyers Checklist as we are preparing to visit a VW Van Centre this afternoon to agree a deal on an ex-demonstrator Ocean. I cannot locate this checklist on the website...

As BJG said, if you have a spare wheel, a spare safe is essential - spare wheels go missing regularly.

Not getting your spare nicked is pretty universal to all of us.

A note to those with lowered suspension and a spare safe. It reduces the ground clearance by an additional few centimetres. I managed to ground it yesterday - spare safe took a big knock, but no other damage. I had to bend the spare safe back into shape to be able to fit the bolt key in.
looks like no lasting damage to the van, but I’ll be continuing with the locking bolt and no spare safe.
