First camp of 2022 at Geldeston suffolk

Thought I would share our first camp of the year (as I like seeing others camping adventure & pics) two days including a day boating on the Broads. The weather isn’t forecast to rain (better than last year) but isn’t as warm as last year.

We had a walk along the broads, saw some nesting Kingfishers then had dinner of steak, potatoes and sweet corn washed down by Southwold bitter / lovely. Tomorrow boating then dinner in Wherry inn

First camp of year and it strange what you forget to take.
This year forgot my pillow, dogs bowl (he’s had mine), picnic rug, tea bags and paper plates.

Hits we remembered to bring £7.99 ottoman from Home bargains to rest feet on. Bose speaker, frogged fishing rod, Dalwhinnie single malt whisky various beers & electric hot plates to save on gas.

Today we are boating on the broads - sun is out much warmer than yesterday.
One other thing I forgot is 20p’s for the shower so had to make do with an old fashion wash in the sink
