Fixing a leaky faucet

I have a 94 Westy California Syncro with a leaky kitchen faucet/hose connection. It looks like this:

The water seeps out through the metal hose covering and drips down into the cabinetry under the sink, so it's impossible to see just where the leak is coming from. Are there any user serviceable parts in this system or does one simply have to replace the whole kit? I can remove the outer spray nozzle but I can't find a way into the faucet without using excessive violence :headbang

Any help would be appreciated.

Just to keep everyone informed: I gave up and bought the new faucet kit. It was definitely worth it when you consider how quick and easy it was to install.
