Forums/ .... /Photos or Media?

Just a bit puzzled what the "Media" tab is for as against this sub section? Is there a difference?

Where should photos be posted?

As a guess, should photos with our Calis in be on here, whereas the "Media" can contain photos without a Cali in?

The photo's section on the forum is the orgiginal place where photo's were posted before we had a gallery add on (media) You can post in either but I guess media is best option as easier for people to view.

I'm not sure, but I don't think anything in "Media" shows up when I go to "Recent Posts", which is what I have posted. So new media goes unnoticed (by me anyway) doing it that way ... I'll have to change the way I do it.

I must admit I am still leanring my way around the media page myself, there are way too many options!

If you put it in the public members gallery it should be there for everyone to see?
