Going to Norther-Wester France for the 1st time.
Any suggestions or warnings you guys can give?
We'll stay out of big cities and mostly examine the local nature and villages.
I see Park4night has a great map for finding wild camping spots.

Don't dismiss the Municipal sites often found in small towns and villages. Booking not required. Normally very cheap but good standard of facilities. They're for the purpose of attracting visitors to use the local shops and restaurants.

Apply for a toll transponder as it saves having to find the change at the toll booths.

Easy to apply for online and arrives within a couple of days.
