French or Swiss asked!

What would be the weather forecast for France or Switzerland from 13 to 28 of July?

For France, I am looking for not crowded places, like Central Massif, or there abouts.
For Switzerland I am looking in the region Wallis or Berner Oberland.

Concerning Switzerland, where would I find good campings in those regions I have the most chance of finding a free spot without reservations?
I had the most of luck the other times I went to Switzerland to find the last spot in camping Breithorn in Stechelberg, or in Simplonblick, Raron, Wallis.
I don't want to make reservations as I drive a California and want to be free to go where I decide to go to on the last spot.

But I was looking something more central in the valley of Wallis, otherwise you always have to drive back to the Rhône valley to go somewhere else.

Where did you end up going?

Just back today from the Cantal in France. The first week is was very good. This week started to go up to 40°C.
This is not nice anymore, and I decided to get back home earlier. Hit 44°C. in Lille about 2 hours ago!

What was Swiss weather like?
