Front parking sensor

After hitting an unfortunate Pheasant, my front off side parking sensor has been pushed in slightly causing the sensor to activate. Is there any way to pull it back or is it a bumper off job to get at it from behind?

Front Parking Sensor Replacement

Hi all Has anyone had to replace a front parking sensor. My research shows that it can't be done without taking the front bumper off. It look like a big job.
