Frontfog lamps

Hi does anyone know if the front fog lamp wiring is present on all 2019 Beach's
My Beach lacks front fogs, it's been suggested that all have wiring in place?
Also has anyone fitted the aftermarket 'autoheadlamp' switch.

First, I am not certain on this, but I was told by VW Van Centre engineer, that the VW manufacturing process means that they only install wiring etc to comply with the original van order, as they are made to order. So I guess that the wiring is not pre-installed.

No. There are no wires ready. Copper costs too much to just put them unneeded. Plus you need a new light switch and coding in your BCM, or even a new BCM if the original BCM doesn't support front fog lights.

Or bypass this all and just install them apart from the original switch and BCM, by placing a switch somewhere on the dashboard.
