Gas Hob won't spark?

Hi folks,

Any idea's what yo do here? Basically gas is coming out but when the spark button is pressed nothing happens. Looking underneath there seems to be a white connector that is unattached?

I use a match. The piezo has never worked from the day I brought Albert home. Yes, I complained, it was seen to twice, it has never worked ...

So I lie. I no longer use a match. I use one of those electronic spark igniters, price £5 from amazon, lasts about 5 years on a single AA battery.

Thanks for the responses folks, just put my head in the cupboard and turns out one of the white wires was unattached. Pushed it back on and we now have tea.
