My stive has a few little leaks aroung the burner base so disassembled it and foung the paper gaskets have disintegrated.

Bought some replacement camer ones on line but they are way to thick and cannot get the burner head back on with them in place.

Anyone know where to get the right ones? My stove is LPG by the way..

Looks like they were discontinued by VW in 2010.
I'm sure one of the T4 members will be along shortly with some advice. The VW part numbers are below.

The stove you have (assuming it's original) was made by Dometic Cramer. They still manufacture a lot of kit for motorhomes and caravans today. The gaskets you require are available from most caravan specialists. You could try searching eBay for some or try here. Remember you'll need four gaskets in total, each burner has one above the cooking surface and one below.

I have got some courtesy of the part number above and vw heritage. Took a while to arrive but they are spot on OEM parts and cost £3.70 for a pair. Part no is c701-070-606/h

can anyone tell me if the gasket set is the same for the removable and non-removable gas hobs? mine is removable but the parts diagram is not showing separate gaskets for that configuration.

Only two types of stove I’m aware of - gas or meths. The gas has gaskets above and below the stainless metal surface.

Hi all, I have a leak on one of the burners on my hob, flame from around the base of it. I'm searching for the gaskets for it.
Are they made from paper or rubber? Does anyone know the size of them so that I can be sure I'm ordering the correct ones.
These are the ones I've found.

Regards Padraic.
