Spent yesterday afternoon cleaning the Cali, hadn't been properly cleaned for a couple of months, so gave it a proper go. Was amazed to see absolutely loads of tar spots all over the lower side panels. And the sides of the rear bumper had a thick tide mark of tar.

I guess there is always one downside to all this lovely hot weather we've had this summer.

It took me a full hour to get those tar spots off. Used half a can of WD40 in the process.

Anyone found anything better than WD40 for this?

I use autoglym tar remover works for me but I do use it every other clean :thumb

so out of interest have you compared it to WD40 and determined its better, or was it simply you bought it assuming that it does what is says on the tin?

To be honest I have never though of using wd40 I use autoglym because I got it as a present in a kit last christmas :thumb
