Can anyone recommend any nice spots for an overnight stop near Gretna please?

(Green Frog, unfortunately doesn't have toilets otherwise would have chosen that)

About 30 miles away is the Kagyu Samye Tibetan Temple and Centre. We enjoyed an overnight stay – you pay person but included evening meal and breakfast. Basic park up in their car park and walk over for meals and loo's – like being in a different world.

We usually stop at the Travelodge in Dumfries for an overnight stop on our way up to the highlands each year. By booking in advance we’ve only paid between £19 - 25, cheap as camping!

Worth considering. There’s a food pub across the road as well.
