Headliner sagging

Both the cabin and underside elevating bed headliner covering material is sagging and coming away on my 2006 T5. The foam backing has degraded. Full mouldings are pricey at £470 and £840 but worse than that they are on a back order and ‘possibly never to be achieved’. Anyone else had similar and found a work around e.g. did a retrim over the old moulding work?
