Hey,
My name is Raf, I live in Szczecin, Poland.
I had T5 (180) Multivan Highline before, now T6 Long biturbo @stage 1
It's not possible to get T6 California in Long version so I thought I'd do some work on my T6, ie roof, heating etc.

I've often thought about the practicalities of a hypothetical long wheel base Cali. I eventually concluded that a long wheel base Cali would be an interesting prospect although it wouldn't improve the current SWB ergonomic layout within the living area. Any extra space there would translate into needing longer arms to reach the table etc. I suspect the advantages would be in relation to what extra gear you could carry. You may then run into trouble with exceeding the maximum payload. However, these are just my thoughts from old. I would be interested in your perspective as I'm sure you have thought through your layout design well to suit your needs.
