Getting the Cali Ocean 4 matic but predictably the dealer doesn’t know much so I’ll just shop for loads of stuff and mess with it when it arrives, I’d like help with this: I’m looking for a matching rear single seat to go in the back so we can accommodate 5 people on day trips, however does the 2 rail system in the T6.1 prevent that? The dealer gave me an off the cuff yes we can do it but it’ll cost about 3k

I think i’m right in saying that you need to order the 3rd rail if you want to add a single seat in the van. Be aware that legroom with the extra seat is quite limited.

You cannot have 5 seats and 4 wheel drive. On a UK spec Ocean as a factory option.

It is physically possible to fit the required 3rd rail and additional seat but there’s a fair bit of work and most Importantly there is insufficient payload for the extra seat + 5 adults.

I wouldn’t worry about leg room, you can remove the rear bed shelf and move the rear seat back a long way.

Welcome! There are a lot of fifth seats that come up on the Accessories For Sale section of the forum which you can watch with or without emails. A lot of drive away awnings used once or twice as well as well as a variety of used and unused other bits and pieces which might be of interest - would have saved us a fortune had I been clued up about that sooner. Good luck with the 5th seat options.
