Hi everyone

After several years of owning air-cooled vw's I'm now the proud owner of a T4 Westfalia California Coach.
I live in between Derby and Burton on Trent.
I'm really glad I've found this club for these special vans and will be using the site regularly.
I bought my van from a guy off the T4 forum from Truro and flew down to Newquay to pick it up then drove it back. It's the 2.4d in paprika red and I've just booked it in for paint detailing and a valet as it still had half a beach in it when I picked it up!
I'll post pics of before and after.

I was hoping you would say it was yellow because I was involved in a wave-fest with someone in a yellow Westie yesterday (M40 heading south).......

I was so excited, no one ever waves at me normally

...I know what you mean! As an ex-Landrover fella, I'd gotten used to giving a wave to other Landy's and being waved back, seems in the Cali world (certainly on the continent here) no-one does it
...Also, seems that T5/6 don't give T4's a second look and that T1, 2 & 3's don't consider us part of their ranks
Or maybe I'm just over thinking this
