you don't have to wait for next year, you could do a cheeky pub stopover somewhere before then, even if only local to you.
They are better for being used.

Totally agree.
Got our van 17 October and did a night at Delamere Forest on 9 & 16 November when we discovered what we did and didn’t understand from reading the manuals.
Only way to get a real feel for it, especially the night heating (which is ace by the way).

Yes use it whenever you can, we are camping this weekend!!
It’s got a heater that works just fine; come to think of it a couple of years ago we used it during a frosty winter night in Hampshire, visiting the pub at Lower Wield so there’s a suggestion.

We are frequently in Hampshire as our son lives down there; our home is in East Yorkshire, but the whole point of the California is to travel. Have Cali will travel!
Camped out last Saturday night at a family bash, it was a cold night but not a problem sleeping.

We did at the end of October, first run out. A tad cold and wet but still fun!
