Hook Farm Uplyme (nr Lyme Regis)

Really great little site... decided to go for an early season jaunt this weekend (and what fab weather we had!)

The site is quite small, terraced with lots of hedgerows and trees offering a great deal of privacy. The facilities are really clean and well-maintained and the staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful.

Lovely 40-50 minute walk by the riverside (more of a large stream really) down to Lyme Regis was really good (and mostly buggy-friendly, despite a couple of bumps and steps)

I know we hit out with the weather, but this place is really nice - shortish walk down the hill to a nice village pub caps it all - 5 stars!

This weekend was shared with 2 other Cali's which is the most I've ever seen in one place!

Stayed there a few times over the years, both in tents and in the van, it's a nice site.

The pub down the road does a decent pint and it's not to far to the River Cottage Canteen in Axminster.
