Ireland Trips 2022

So our plans this year in to keep it local and stay in Ireland, because, well I love this country!
We have 2 weeks planned at the start of July to Clifden/Westport/Achill Island and I am taking the 2 months of school holidays off myself so any ideas tor a 8 year to visit while his dad drives there for some peace is appreciated!

You’re going to a beautiful place and the greenway between Westport and Achill is wonderful. Camping near Keel beach is popular and I’d say free. We didn’t stay there but there were several camp vans. Some BnBs on Achill have campsites. We stayed at HyBreasal B&B and they had nice facilities near the bridge.

We have often toured around Galway - but from a base apartment/house - just not with our bedroom with us. So novelty fo us, hoping we are not fair weather campervanners brought on by covid and youtube videos - next 12 months will tell!
