... could meet all our requirements?

We purchased a Vango airbeam something (can't remember the name) tent recently thinking that would be the answer, but it was about double the size we saw packed up at the exhibition, and incredibly heavy, so that went back.

After a few months with our ocean now, we have a better idea of how we behave and what we need, which is:

- no need to attach to the Cali, only need free standing.
- can really easily and rapidly put up (airbeam appeals)
- <20kg
- packs up fairly small and won't fill the back of the Ocean
- offers us extra space with lots of windows to sit out in, in all weathers and enjoy the view when for whatever reason we don't want to just sit in the van
- offers us a tent where friends and family could have as a central gathering tent occasionally
- offers us a tent where they - or us if the upstairs bed gets too hot in summer (haven't had one of those yet) - can sleep (no fancy internal blackout pods needed, just curtains for the windows)

Coleman Octogan springs to mind, but don't know how easily it is put up. Would love an airbeam/prettier (like the Karstens..!) solution.

Breeze1 - thanks. That looks nice and neat, and very compact when packed up, but is probably too small, and we would rather like more windows all the way round.
