Any trouble with middies? I am thinking of the Highlands and Islands late this month and am a bit worried about those little terrors.

How do you get into the roof box?

No problems with middies on our trip - fat too windy for the little blighters!

We use a very lightweight telescopic ladder to gain access into the roof box. The ladder lives behind the front passenger seat until it's needed. Bought it off eBay for £40.
