We chose white for a number of reasons, not least because we like it! Escalating costs were also a consideration and the alternative standard colour red, just didn't do it for me. Optional paint colours were, nice but they are very expensive in Spain because you have to add 31% tax to the configurator price. Plus we can always vinyl wrap the lower half in any colour/design we want later. I had to trim my original 'wish list' considerably thanks to the drop in the value of the pound against the euro and price rises from VW. I kept 4 motion, difflock, DSG & towbar at the expense of LED lights, optional colour and alloys.
