Jacques Copin Champagne Aires - closed

Our favourite overnight stop in the Champagne region of France. They have unfortunately been required to close their overnight stopover facility. Providing visitors purchase something (a glass of champagne?) - the camping has been free of charge, clean, friendly and convenient. We were alerted to a campaign to challenge the decision of the mayor - it reads as though the mayor was not an impartial arbitrator. Politics aside, it is a shame this aire has closed. If you have used and enjoyed this stop-over you might want to support their petition. I have no link with the company, other than enjoying a glass of their champagne!
