Keeping outside or under cover

we have recently bought a California Ocean,we are wondering how many owners keep them under cover or out in the open and what are the pros and cons before we go to a lot of effort to enlarge our carport to accommodate it

Open air for us - pro's/cons - daily dive no space for car port or garage

Outside for the past 3 1/2 years.

Apparently best option is a Car Port with at least 2 open sides. Keeps bird droppings off and good ventilation. Worst is an enclosed garage with poor ventilation.

outside. It's used daily. No point covering it up.

Outside on the road and sadly underneath overhead cables - pigeon season seems to have started this week
