Keeping warm and keeping cool

Hello folks, would appreciate some advice on what roof cover or lining we should buy - to keep warm in winter and cool in the summer. I've heard about Vanoraks which go on the outside and other covers (lining) which go on the inside but some are very expensive and difficult to fit. Would be great to get some advice on what to go for and what to consider.

Specify your verhicle details , it only says 2013....people can answer in function that.
There are diffrent roofs on the diffrent models.
There are lots of treads on roof toppers and inner liners wich give lots of good info and pictures posted by other members.
