Little Meadow campsite, Watermouth, near Ilfracome, Devon

This is a very cool little site... Fits 50 units into a number of terraces that overlook the most stunning bit of coastline in the UK. We had a number of calis and old westies and t25s around us, as we camped. Really simple straight forward site. No phone signal and no wifi to speak of (they say wifi works, but it can't cope.. So don't bother, and just enjoy being off the grid)
Electric hookups abound. Lovely local produce at the farm shop. Coastal walks to Ilfracome or Combe Martin are worthwhile. Or just watch the sea and weather.... Kids love the outdoor ping pong table, swings and play area. Washing up with this view is quite amazing. Just don't tell anyone else or my favourite site won't have space for me.

Indeed! It's quite a special bit of coast here. Must be 30 years since my dad used to bring us down to this neck of the woods for campings, beach BBQs, rock pooling and steep coastal walks... Great memories, and ones I hope to pass onto mine too.
