Load - through hatch

Just wondered if / how other members make use of the load-through hatch on the Ocean?

Also depends if you have the puncture repair kit in there (new models with low profile tyres) as the kit takes up more room, unfortunately.

I keep my daughter's wheelchair ramps (for negotiating steps) in there.

Her electric wheelchair, which folds up, lays on its side under the bed.

What’s the technique for getting the cover off? - tried a few times but worried about breaking the plastic cover.

If you pull it from the top it’s on a kind of semi hinge. Needs a strong pull. If in doubt tap it from the back with something long and it will come away on its own. That’s how I found out how to do it accidentally!!

It's the narrow gap under the seat between the under-bench drawer and the kitchen unit. Has a pull-off grey plastic cover flush with the drawer front. Can be used for stowing long thin items such as skis.

We opted for the built in VW drawer. Very handy having a small built in drawer for clean underwear or PJs.
