Looking for a place to have our California serviced in the Oxfordshire area.
Has anyone any experience of using Eynsham or Swindon?

Hi @Wylie Coyote just wonder where you took your Cali for a service in the end? Trying to decide what to do/where to go with mine.

I used Eynsham - they were OK and friendly and communicative - but admitted they hardly ever work on California’s. More used to big lorries etc

Thanks, I've used Eynsham once, and didn't go too well, got them to do the Cambelt & water pump on my T5.1 Cali and they "forgot" to attach a (turbo?) hose back on properly, not long after picking it up it went into limp mode and was several days before they could "fit me in" to sort it, I was less than impressed!

Have used Swindon, but again not overly excited by them and they are an hour from me.
 
I am thinking of going to Poole next time. Make a trip of it.

I think if I had a lorry then Eynsham would be ok!!!!
 
Having looked at reviews and feedback I'm thinking of going to Poole too, as you say make a trip of it!
 
What about Marshalls Newbury? It seems that have a Cali specialist. I have not been there in a long time so not sure if all resources exist after covid.

Not sure but I don’t think they are a Cali dealer, I think Reading are but have heard very little in the way of reviews so wouldn’t chance it.

Correct. They are not a Cali dealer, but had a Cali specialist. Will check up and update this thread though once I have been able to check.

We bought our Cali from Poole just after he left. We had a ickle electrical fault on the lights and they were very good about fixing it. From our experience there I would recommend breeze Poole
