Hello all,
We are Manchester based and bought our T5 in October which is coming up for its Cambelt service. I am advised to have the van serviced at a VW dealership but the actual work and parts etc can be done at a different authorised VW garage to save money.
Can anyone recommend an authorised VW van centre in south Manchester?
Really appreciate any feedback.

I would check your local Dealers, they often have Promotional Deals for the Cambelt and Waterpump Service that are very competitive.

No idea whether competitive but the Cleckheaton van centre get good reviews and sorted my T5 air con issue quickly where others had failed. Might be worth a price match if nothing else.

The only authorised dealer close is at Trafford Park. They do a fixed price deal (as do most official dealers). Cam belts are the one bit of work I think should be done at a main dealer. Routine oil changes and repair work are, in my opinion (there will be others) best done at Independent ‘vw Specialists’ when vehicles approach a certain age (about 6 years old).
