Navigation Updates

I've updated my SD card twice in last 6 months using Europe 1 as the source, as recommended by California Chris amongst others. A recent road trip to Switzerland revealed that this wuld not be covered, so I updated again before departure to Europe AS. I found this really quite glitchy and random in it's choice of routes and directions, compared to Google Maps at any rate, so have reverted back to Europe 1 on my return. This seems more accurate as initially thought.

My question is can the Europe 2 files, which cover the additional European countries be run alongside Europe 1, or is it one or the other?
