Just introducing ourselves to what looks to be a very helpful and informative forum. We took delivery of our first Transporter & campervan a couple of weeks ago, a 23' Ascot Grey 4-Motion DSG Ocean. We've already been off to Amsterdam and up to Aviemore and just turned over a thousand miles.
We are so far loving campervan life and already looking forward to many other trips in 2023, in the main probably 2-3 day breaks from our base in Edinburgh, focusing on destinations within a couple of hours drive and some extended breaks further afield.
Loving the day-to-day drivability and practicality of the Cali and hope we can make some valuable contributions to the forum in due course. We already spent 2/3 hours in Aviemore trying to reset an auxiliary heater fault that crashed the camping control module with the roof stuck up. Pulling fuse 12 and replacing it managed to reset thankfully.
