Welcome on board @Kennedy campers ! Yes, don't wait ... You can get on an adventure on your drive itself.

I am overwhelmed with my van. Don’t know where to start!

The only solution to that is - start using it. Have you yet slept in the van on your drive? Start with that and then plan short trips when you get the time and build up to a UK or a European holiday.
