New to VWCC

Hi all
I have had my 2014 Cali since December 2017, and find it simply fabulous!
My wife (and dog) and I have travelled to England / Scotland a few times, to S Ireland once, and across to Brittany this summer.
Worked very well once you get into a system of use!
My wife dislikes rainfall on the roof when sleeping!!
But otherwise it is a dream.

Welcome , rain during the night can keep you out of your sleep indeed.
It helps if you empty a few nice glasses of wine before heading to bed

Good morning Trevor and welcome to the forum.

Rain is indeed noisy, as was the owl disturbing my sleep two nights ago

To me it enhances the freedom of being out there, in the open, not stuck in a stuffy hotel room somewhere being interrupted by next door's television

All outdoor sleeping has different noises. Good old foam ear plugs deaden it
