Newbie desperate for help!

I have a 2005 reg VW T5 Multi van, LHD
and I am desperate to find the central fuse box under the gear-lever: does the back of the long high cubby hole have to be removed?
which has the fuse for the footwell lights
also there seems no way to lift the seats to find the fuses supposedly there...

The front passenger seat cushion on the T5 van lifts up and hinges forward. I guess it is the same for the LHD van.
Sorry, can’t help how you get the cover off usually a pair of quarter turn screws but your gear stick is in a different place to ours.

Do you have to remove the grey binnacle cover below the steering wheel?
Ie as removing ashtray?
