Hi I'm Phil from South Derbyshire.
Recently became the proud owner of a 2011 Cali SE - despite the age it only has 30k miles and is in near perfect condition, having been lovingly cared for by an older couple and largely kept under a full cover when not in use

My first time of owning a camper, although we've hired a few converted transporters over the years.
Already got my eye on some improvements I'm looking to make, and looking forward to getting out in it when the weather improves!

I've already got new side repeaters as the originals were a bit misty.
On my list are:
- New head unit as the existing one doesn't even have bluetooth
- Reversing camera (although I'm extremely nervous about the cable routing)
- Tailgate gas struts
- Auto-lights
- USB sockets
- Dark coloured carpet lining - why would VW have gone with beige interior considering the normal use of these???
- Seat covers, as I do a lot of mountain biking and typically get very muddy!
