Newbies from Somerset.......hello!

Had our Cali for 5 months 2010 dark grey 140. We looked for absolutely months before this one poped up & we snapped it up. I've had a real problem with the uncomfortable bed (bad back) but thankfully this has now been sorted with a matress topper & a goose down topper on top of that (yes...princess & the pea springs to mind!).
we thought we would join after turning up at Hollands's Park where the club had decided to meet. We had no idea what was going on........lots of people waving at us when we got there! We ambled up to the group on Saturday evening & had a great chat to several members & picked up some tips too.
Our first major trip will be this coming Friday, we're off to France to watch the tour for a few days in the pyrenees, then travelling up the atlantic coast for a week so any recommendations for a nice beachside campsite would be appreciated.
We'll keep you posted on how we get on!

Hi stu, yes that was us........ We spent the weekend stalking vans!

Say Hi to Brabley for us. Those boys are sure doing us proud!! I saw a row of three Cali's on the TV coverage the other night, all parked in formation. Brilliant.

Welcome Sharon, Tony,

I'm new to all this too, but found the forum so useful.

We stayed in Moliets Plage for a week last year, it's between Biarritz and Bordeaux, we weren't in the van but the municiple site in the village looked good. Loads of good bars/restaurants and a great beach.

We did a fair bit of travelling up and down the coast whilst there, and to be honest most of the sites are decent.
