Norway has tolls for roads and Tunnels etc. All APNR and now including some ferries. You can register for an Epass account so you will get the correct tolls and any emissions discounts but if you don't you will get a bill next full month after last toll charge.

Italy has a similar scheme on some sections. There is bound to be an app where you can register an account linked to your license plate or via browser and make payments as they occur.

The Toll system in Norway are run by a private company not the government . Payment is to a UK bank so I presume they pay DVLA for the address of the registered keeper.
