Hi again. As you may've read my first post, I'm a complete noob but am thinking of hiring a Cali for a week in August.

Do I need to be on a serviced pitch? What will or won't work if I don't have a hook-up?

I'm hoping I won't need a heater in August, but anythings possible in this country!!

Appreciate your thoughts.

Hi Dave

Depending on what electrics you are using you should get around 2-3 days without hook up, but this is obviously dependant on the state of the batteries. You will only be able to use the 12V sockets and not the 240V ( there is a built in inverter , but this is only for low wattage devices) Also 'serviced pitch' can also means it will have a fresh water tap and drainage aswell as your hook-up.

All five nights we've done so far have been non serviced. We like the flexibility of where to park!
