Hi.
We bought a T5 Cali last month and are loving Cali life and keen to get out and about and find new places. Does anyone have any good suggestions for nice places to stay in the northwest, within a couple of hours of Cheshire (we have a reluctant 13 year old who can’t lift his head from the X box!!) we went to Hilbre Island in Liverpool bay yesterday which was fab. Are there any Cali ‘meets’ where our son might have some company?
Thanks.

If you don't want to go far, Delamere forest has a site now and the lake has loads of watersports.
The Crocky Trails not too far from there either.
Watch a yourkshire pop top on YouTube. He goes to the lakes with his teenage daughter to a great site with paddleboards etc

Southport caravan club site is good with older kids who need more incentives to camp! Walking distance to McDonald’s, wi-fi, park next door with tennis courts and has remote control car club racing at weekends you can watch. Arcades etc along the front.

The Burrs country park is a good one, this is in Bury

You also have Ramsbottom a stones throw away, the East Lancs Railway on your doorstep, Holcombe Hill for a climb, Bury market for a feast, the Metrolink for a 30 min ride to Mcr city, the list goes on. Also a great pub on site called the Brown Cow.

Anyone would think i used to live near here..... :Grin

North Wales. Mountains, lakes and beaches.
For the teenager there’s the worlds fastest zip wire, an outdoor surfing wave pool and a go ape type place near betws y coed.
Its a beautiful part of the country.

Hi,
We have an 11 year old son who also likes his games but now loves going away in the Cali.

We're in Cheshire too and have joined the Wirral VW Camper Club on FaceBook who have lots of meets etc. We haven't been to a meet yet but the club seem friendly and very social with meets around Tattenhall etc.
