Nottingham - know anywhere nice to pitch up?

Heading up to Nottinghan Uni for an open day with my daughter at the weekend. We thought we would make a trip of it and find somewhere nice to stay either there or bottom end of the Peaks. Any suggestions for a good site in that neck of the woods?

Try this place if it's not to far out from Nottingham.They own the pub just down the road.

You could try this one which is quite abit closer to Nottingham and it's where the club had a meet earlier in the year

It's a beautiful site and has a fabulous well stocked camping shop and a pub close by , The Dog and Duck .

This place is nice, lovely walk along the river and the "bar" is cool. It is a little way out though.

The site is a bit marmite, when we went it was dry and empty other than the friends we were meeting. Facilities were clean enough, site owner very friendly. The site dog was also very entertaining. The best bit - a reasonable walk to the tram for super easy access to town...
